History : Vixette grew up near the city of
Tenra on the Tenra Plateau. This region was often under attack from nomadic/
barbarian tribes of ranwolfs (a fierce race of humanoid wolves/canines), and
Vixette was particularly distrusted because people often mistook her for a
ranwolf due to her canine appearance (bad enough that she was a wyrd!). She was
constantly abused, never spending long in the same place and generally had a
very hard life. She learned from a young age to fight only for herself in this
unforgiving region, and never to show mercy as your opponent would not be likely
to show mercy to you.
This treatment made her bitter and hateful towards ordinary
humans, and she swore to herself that she would see them pay for their prejudice
towards her and all other wyrds. When she reached her teens and was strong
enough to travel, she left her homeland and became a vagabond.
As time passed, she met other wyrds who were just as angry at
the world as she. They banded together, with Vixette as the leader because she
was not the sort to be argued with. Whilst travelling out in the wilds, a
strange dark figure hidden in a black cloak with only his yellow eyes to see,
calling himself 'The Messenger', appeared to them and spoke of the legend of Uth
Teleros. He told Vixette and her group how the city had hidden within it secrets
of wondrous power and magic. He told them that these could be used against
humanity to make them pay. Remembering her promise to herself, Vixette jumped at
this chance for revenge and choose to take up the quest. The Messenger then
warned them that there was another group in search of Uth Teleros: the Seekers,
and if they found the city first then the magic could never be used for ill.
Vixette and her wyrds intend to find Uth Teleros first, and will do all they can to stop Exile and her Seekers...
Personality : Vixette is a hard woman, she never backs down and will not tolerate anyone speaking against her or going against her decisions. She has even used violence against other members of her group to ensure they see things from her point of view. She has a deep hatred of humans, and only barely tolerates them when the group have no choice but to enter a town for supplies, or wish to use a tavern. Vixette will not back down or give up. She is not a person to mess with. She also has a scheming nature, and won't usually lose her cool unless someone disagrees with her.
Weaknesses : Because she has been blinded in her right eye (which she has covered with a patch) - this happened in a fight she once had with Exile - Vixette as quite a blind spot on her right hand side. But most of the time her speed and fighting skills make up for this.
Skills : Vixette is an excellent fighter and is not the kind of person you want to meet in single combat. She is fast and deadly, usually using daggers as weapons.
Special Abilities : She has a very good sense of smell due to her canine nature, but does not really have and special powers etc. She is actually rather suspicious of magic as it is something she does not understand (she's actually a little scared of it, but would rather die than have anyone know this weakness!)
Weapons : She carries a large number of weapons, some hidden about her person, but most on view on belts she wears etc. Her main weapons are daggers, throwing knives and, shurikin and death stars. But she carries a rapier too in case she is involved in a fight where a sword would be more beneficial.
