History:
Changelings are almost as distrusted a race as wyrds -- some folk don't even
believe that they exist! This is because they change their forms in order to
hide themselves amongst the society/town in which they live. The distrust is
because no one truly knows what they look like, even their next-door-neighbour
could be a changeling and they wouldn't even know it! Because it is so hard
to blend in, changelings are a very competitive race, adopting a 'survival of
the fittest' dogma. So anyone who isn't a good shapeshifter won't be tolerated
in their society... Unfortunately for Twilight Talon, she was not as good a
shape changer as the other members of her hidden community (whatever form she
took, some part of her true shape would reveal itself). She tried to keep this
hidden, but was finally discovered. She was kicked out of her community for
fear that she would give everyone else away. So Twilight left her home, heading
out on her own.
Personality:Her attitude is often sketchy
and her inability to socially interact with others comes off as being suspicious.
She doesn't shapeshift a whole lot, thinking if she does it'll make the others
feel more uncomfortable around her. Twilight wants to be more out-going but
feels others will reject her.
Physical descriptions:
No one is sure what Twilight really looks like. They think it might be the bird-like
form in which she spends most of her time. But then again, no one can be sure.
She does, however, take on one other form that reflects the bird-like creature's
look only more humanoid.
Weapon:
She is her own weapon. Because of her shifting capabilities she can take on
any form to suit the situation and can often be a blessing for the group, but
the opportunity rarely arises.
Special abilities:
The same as weapon; even if she's not as good at it as the other changelings
she knew were. Her fellow changlings believe she has a unique skill over them.
They believe the amulet she wears is actually a damned talisman meant for the
Hssaar priestess by their goddess -- and think it grants Twilight necromancy
powers without needing any prior knowledge into the magic. These are merely
allegations as Twilight only thinks her amulet looks nice on her.
Weakness:
Whatever form she is in, she can always be recognised because the shape is not
'perfect' (e.g. she might have her tail from her bird form. And her amulet is
always visible.)
Relationships:
Since no one really trusts her, she often mimics the look of other party members
and tries to joke around. She knows they don't enjoy this but hopes that it
lets them know that she isn't any threat to them. Besides that she purposely
annoys Ecu to no end, and wishes to become closer friends with Exile and finds
herself perched on her shoulder - but it never lasts very long.
