Kyei streched her arms above her head and yawned, ruffling her wings at the same
time. Where was she?? The last thing she remembered was falling asleep under a
tree, but it seemed she had somehow moved....
"What the--" She said aloud. Her ears twitched under her long lavender
hair. Something was moving towards her among the trees and bushes. She moved to
grab for her trident but realized it was missing. She growled and jumped to her
feet, standing in a fighting stance.
"Looking for this..??" The figure inquired slyly, and threw Kyei's
trident to her feet. Kyei cautiously picked it up with her tail and put it
in her hand.
"Who are you? What the hell do you want??!" Kyei growled, gripping her
trident tighter.
Slowly, the firgure stepped forward, revealling webbed feet. Kyei's eyes opened
wide. It was a dolphin wyrd. But who....
"I don't think we've been properly introduced. My name is hunter. You must
be one of Exile's followers." The wyrd said slowly.
Kyei bared her teeth. She didn't like this guy at all. Nor was she about to tell
him her buisness with Exile.
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. But you work for Vixette. It's easy to
tell." She replied, growling low in her throat. Hunter laughed.
"Your one of the smarter ones, aren't you??"
"It's kind of easy to detect on of Vixette's bastards."
Hunter stopped laughing. So she does work for Exile. Kyei's eyes glowed brightly
in the darkness, giving Hunter a wery feeling. It was just his luck to get lost
in a distant forest, and the only one who would be along the thicket was this
inferiating and annoying young weird.
"I'm going to regret this," Hunter began.
"But I need your help."
Kyei almost burst out laughing.
"Why in the names of the great gods would you ask help from me? I wasn't
born yesterday, you know." Kyei retorted. Hunter glared at her. Stupid
feline....
"Look, I'm not asking for much. All I need is your map. If you had wanted
to go back to Exile, you would have done so already." Hunter persuaded.
Kyei pulled the map from inside the pack she was carrying and stared at it
thoughtfully. He was right. If she had wanted to go back to Exile, she would
have.....but the others....Seer....Ax.....Camille...Paladin...
"Are you going to help me, or not?!" Hunter snapped imaptiently. Kyei
looked from the map to Hunter, and back again.
"If you help me find my group, I'll help you find yours. Deal?" Kyei
thrust her hand forward. Hunter half smiled, and shook her hand.

"KYEI!!! Ah crap......this is just really fucked up..." Ax muttered.
He, Twighlight Talon and Medusa had returned from a local village to discover
that Kyei had ran off because of something personal said to her harshly by
Exile.
"Exile, even though I respect you and all...that was really stupid."
Seer admitted. Exile sighed.
"I guess she took it the wrong way--"
Ax whipped around and growled loudly at Exile.
"HOW COULD SHE NOT HAVE TAKEN IT THE WRONG WAY?!!! FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD YOU
WERE PRETTY DAMN STRAIGHT FORWARD TO HER! YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS?! YOUR
TRYING TOO HARD TO BE A PERFECT LEADER!!!!"
Exile opened her mouth to argue back, but no words came out. The group fell
deadly silent. Ax turned back around.
"We should continue our search. It's almost night." He added, and
walked into the trees.

Even if it was day and the sun was up, the eery forest had a sort of deathly
darkness to it. Kyei and Hunter had been walking for many miles now, and Kyei
noticed from between the dark branches of the trees, the sun had slowly, but
finally set. She stopped abruptly. Hunter second the motion, for he was
following her.
"Now what is it..." He groaned. They had been delayed 3 times, each
this stupid wyrd insisted they were being followed. And it turned that they
were, by a pack of wolves.
"They're just trying to figure out who we are." Kyei had said.
"We're just new to them. No worries."
Kyei turned to him with her glowing yellow eyes. Hunter hated her eyes, for some
odd reason.
"The sun set. We should take a rest." Kyei instructed. Hunter nodded.
It was hard for him to tell if the sun had set or not in the dark forest, but
the other wyrd being a cat must have better eye-sight. Soon, they had a fire
going. Kyei was dumping out supplies from her packsack. Hunter was watching her
silently. There was something about her....not that he was attracted to
her, she just seemed...sort of...special was the only way Hunter could put it at
the moment. Hunter snapped out of his gaze and turned his eyes to the fire
"Hmm." Kyei murmered.
"Is that a good 'Hmm' or a bad 'Hmm'?" Hunter asked slyly. Kyei
grinned. But she realised what she had done and quickly went back to being
serious.
"I only have one sleeping skin. I think Paladin has my spare because he
lost his..." Kyei looked over at him. He sort of shivered. She tossed the
skin over to Hunter.
"You can have this."
"What about you?"
"Why would you care?"
Hunter went silent after the last remark. He watched her out of the corner of
his eye. She seemed cold, but she didn't say anything. She was polishing her
trident, and Hunter decided if he was going to be travelling with her, he might
as well get to know her.
"I don't think you actually told me your name."
Kyei shifted her eyes from her trident to Hunter for a minute, then returned
them to her work. Hunter rolled his eyes. Women. They were all stubborn and
pathetic. Even this one. He stood up and walked over to her. Kyei continued
doing what she was, pretending Hunter wasn't there.
"I said..." Hunter began, yanking the trident from her hands. Kyei
looked at him, not amused by this.
Hunter leaned close to her face.
"....I didn't actually hear your name."
