Part 2

Eliza wandered off into the forest looking for something that might actually be worth hunting. She found plenty of small things but she Really wanted to impress the group. She continued searching until she found a boar type creature.It was huge! Even bigger than her. It was probably even bigger than Paladin, but it would do very nicely to catch. It looked dangerous though, the tusks on that thing were at least 6 inches, and Eliza wasn’t very good at math.


Camille was back at the trees, with Ecu listening intently, playing a small harp while Exile built a fire. Seer had come back but she then left, knowing Exile would make her go on wood hunting for the campfire. Exile sighed and did it herself. She broke some branches off the trees and threw them into the fire. It set it ablaze and she unpacked her things. Camille was strumming the harp softly the sweet notes even catching Exile’s attention.
“ That was beautiful Camille.”
“ Oh! Yes, I love that song, I learned it from…somewhere, I just can’t really remember”
“ Hmm if you ever do please write it down, you’d be a big hit at taverns”
“ Maybe I will someday” said Camille giving Exile a warm smile.

Palaldin, Hybrid and Kyei had come back.
“ You wont believe what we found!” exclaimed Paladin resheathing his sword.
“ It was a huge boar like thing, it was really really fast too, we almost caught it if it hadn’t gotten Hybrid in the gut”
Hybrid was last limping in holding a deep gash on his side.
“ Damn thing…” he said sitting himself down by the fire.
“ You shouldn’t say such things!” said Camille, stopping her playing.
“ I apologize then little angel, but it HURTS!”
“ It was that quick?” asked Exile looking worried.
“ Yes and the da..stupid thing had like 10 inch tusks, it ran off that way” said Hybrid pointing a claw in that direction.
“ WHaT?!” exclaimed Exile standing up. it had gone the way Eliza went.
“ What? Why? What’s wrong?” asked Kyei grabbing her trident.
“ Eliza….I sent her off that way…she was …looking for something big….to hunt, we Have to get her back here before that..That thing gets her!”
“ It might not get her you know” said Hybrid trying to get up.
“ No! Hybrid you stay Camille you look over Hybrid, if Seer ever comes back tell her to stay too! Everyone else let’s move it!” said Exile getting up and walking quickly in the direction form which she sent Eliza.
“ You heard the lady lets move it!” said Kyei running after her, with Paladai right on her tail.




Eliza was watching from a distance what it was doing. It had blood on one of the tusks, probably from another boar it fought. Eliza gulped, she would have to be quick and kill it instantly, or else it would run her over like Paladin did when she stole his sword. She gulped gathered herself together and jumped onto it’s back. She ripped and tore and bit it with all her fury and might. Nothing happened. It sat there munching grass. It hadn’t even felt her clawing it. She got extremely angry and started kicking it. She then jumped right into it’s face.


“ CAN’T YOU SEE? I’M TRYING TO HUNT YOU! YOU STUPID OX!” its eyes turned a deep blood red it snorted. Eliza could feel the warm breath on her as it snarled. She grabbed onto a tusk and held on for dear life while it tried to get her off. It shook her and jarred her body with all it’s might. She held on with all her might. it then started to run for a huge rock cavern.
“ HE-HELP ME-EEEE! EX-ILE HYB-RID KYEI! ECU! EVEN SEER HELP MEEEEEE” Eliza cried.
The boar smiled and continued to run for the cliffs. Exile and the rest of the group had just arrived out of the rock cavern to see the charging boar and their scared to death companion.
“ Eliza! HOLD ON!” cried Exile.
“ I don’t have a CHOICE! HELLLLPPPP MEEEEEE” Eliza cried.
“ Everyone spread out create a circle around it and don’t let it escape!”
It stopped as it saw the others around it. Paladin drew his sword, Kyei took out her trident snarling at it and Exile just glared. It snorted as if a scoff and shook its head still trying to shake Eliza off. It managed slightly except Eliza’s tail was still attached to the tusk. She was slingshotted forward and bounced back dangling right over it’s mouth. The hot breath breathed on her and the boar snorted it’s rage.

“ Uh-oh” said Eliza.
“ Get it now!” cried Exile. Kyei threw her trident at its side but it was no use, it seemed to bounce off it. Paladin tried to slash at it but it nearly broke his sword. It started charging again and knocked exile out of it’s way. Eliza and the boar were going to smash into the cliff.
“ ACKKKKK!” cried Eliza covering her eyes. It all happened quickly no one knew what had happened and then suddenly Eliza opened her eyes to see she was in seers hands, flying high above the boar. It had smashed into the cliff and had huge rocks piled over it. It was clearly dead.
“SEER! thank you SO much!” said Eliza hugging her.
“ See? I’m not as much of a PRINCESS as you thought!” said Seer smiling.
“ How did you find me?”
“ Oh I knew this would happen,” said Seer still smiling. She flew to the ground and set Eliza down gently.
“ Good work Seer” said Exile smiling at her.
“ Yeah I agree” said Paladin, rubbing the back of his head with one of his arms.
“ Great job Seer ya saved the day” said Kyei.
“ And I got a HUGE prize!” said Eliza trying to drag the dead boar out from under the rocks. Everyone laughed. They eventually got the boar out from under the rocks and took it back to feast. Ecu and Hybrid were listening to Camille play her harp. They all stopped and turned their heads as they saw the huge boar being dragged in by the 5.

“ Hmm nice catch Paladin” said Hybrid analyzing it from his place by the fire.
“ It wasn’t my catch”
“ Exile?” he asked looking over to her, she nodded and smiled.
“ Kyei?” Hybrid said getting a little confused.
“Okay, okay Seer?” he asked almost laughing as he looked at Seer. She shook her head as well
“ Well then who’s was it?”
“ MINE!” asked Eliza jumping down from the back of the boar.
“ You're kidding right?”
“ I am afraid not Hybrid the kid did it, with …a little help” said Seer smiling.
“ Good job then kiddo you're one in a million” said Hybrid rusting Eliza’s hair.
Eliza only smiled and hugged Hybrid.
“ Are you okay?” asked Eliza backing away looking at the red stained cloth wrapped around his ribs.
“ Yeah…I will be kiddo”
“ Alright if you say so..” said Eliza nestling back next to him.
“ Hey Kyei why don’t you tell us a story? Please? Of one of your travels or something!” said Eliza after they all had had a great meal, with plenty of meat to spare.
“ Very well then, I was walking down the streets on day when this weird wolf man came up to me….”

Eliza was out in an hour, Seer, Ecu, Paladin and Camille were asleep too. Only Hybrid, Exile and Kyei were awake.
“ They are cute aren’t they?” asked Kyei looking from Camille to Eliza
“ Hmm tyres when they’re asleep they’re perfect little angels, Eliza, when she’s awake however is another matter entirely”
“ yesah but that’s what makes her interesting!” defended Hybrid stroking her short red hair delicately with a claw”
“ Uh-oh someone is getting attached” said Kyei laughing, Exile laughed with her.
“ I am Not” said Hybrid.
“ Oh stop lying Hybrid, she looks up to you like a father she never had, accept it, your stuck with her” said Kyei.
“ You're also one of the only people she’ll listen to when being scolded” added Exile.
“ Let's just get some sleep okay?” said Hybrid laying his head on a pillow and draping his claws gently around Eliza’s shoulders. She wiggled like a cat and nestled closer next to Hybrid.
“ Hmm wish I had a soft warm “kitty” to nuzzle up with” said Kyei almost envious.
“ Good night Kyei, pleasant dreams” said Exile smiling and laying down on her pillow.
“ Good night Exile” said Kyei getting up and slowly pouring a bucket of water over the fire. It sizzled as it went out and the whole group was fast asleep.
