Footwear...

Something I've noticed... Everyone in fantasy worlds seems to have their very wide choice of footwear from everything that's ever been created!!
So why is it that Shade, amidst this fantabulous bounty, has never found shoes he likes?

Just to prove I'm not dead...

Simply put, Shade hates wearing shoes. He will if he has to but doesn't like the way they constrict his feet and much prefers the feel of making direct contact with the ground since his 'condition' tends to have him feeling very dissociated so that physical contact with the living world, though a small thing, is important to him.


or maybe he just gets dreadful foot odour? Possibly comes with being undead...
