Occupation: Laboratory Scientist (I work with robots) at a multinational pharmaceutical corporation. Working for big, evil corporations has its advantages. It's not exactly what I hoped to do when I grew up but since I steadfastly refuse to grow up properly there's still time for me to change my mind about it and do something else before I become too old and boring.

Academic background: 2.1 BSc degree in Neuroscience, sciencey a-levels... People always seem taken aback when they find out I didn't study art past GCSE (I got an 'A'). Swings and roundabouts... at work folks are always surprised when they learn about my artistic leanings :-D

Hobbies: drawing, writing (badly), nice wine, rock clubs (though not as often these days because it's a pain in the arse getting back to Southgate from central London after the tubes shut), occasional shopping splurges. I also enjoy working out and go to the gym 3-4 times a week... actually it's not the working out I enjoy so much as the feeling of having exercised.

Taste: My fav films inc.: The Lost Boys, Kevin Smith films, The Crow, Evil Dead 2&3, Event Horizon, Wayne's World 1&2, Beavis and Butthead do America. Pirates of the Caribbean (only the first one), LoTR,, This is Spinal Tap, Indiana Jones films (not the latest one though!). Dumb and Dumber (because sometimes it's nice to disconnect the brain and laugh like a moron) and stuff

A bit about me?: I like my metal... (and I'm NOT a goth! OK?). I currently live in Southgate, London. I like sushi (not the really fishy bits though), curry and chocolate though not in the same dish. I don't play computer games so don't bother talking to me about them :-P
